First Blade Program

Buy a Blade. Pass On a Tradition.

Every qualifying Tennessee Knife Company knife purchase helps place a first blade into the hands of a young hunter or outdoorsman.

The First Blade Program was created to pass down responsibility, outdoor tradition, and the memories that come with a first knife. A first blade is more than a tool. It is a sign of trust, a lesson in responsibility, and a memory that can stay with a person for the rest of their life.

Program Purpose

More Than a Donation

The First Blade Program is Tennessee Knife Company's way of helping the next generation step into the outdoor tradition.

When a qualifying knife is purchased, Tennessee Knife Company works to place a first blade into the hands of a young hunter or outdoorsman through approved families, mentors, events, and outdoor programs.

Customers do not need to select a recipient at checkout. Tennessee Knife Company coordinates the donation process directly to make sure each first blade is handled responsibly and respectfully.

Responsibility and Safety

Built Around Responsibility

A first blade should always come with guidance, respect, and responsibility.

The First Blade Program is not about simply giving away knives. It is about helping preserve the outdoor way of life by connecting young people with mentors, family members, and responsible adults who can teach safe handling, respect for the tool, and respect for the hunt.

Any story involving a minor must have parent or guardian permission before it can be published in the Hall of Honor.

Honor the Moment. Carry the Story.

A first knife can become more than steel and handle material. It can become a memory of the person who gave it, the hunt where it was carried, and the lesson that came with it.

The First Blade Program exists to help those moments happen.

When you purchase a qualifying Tennessee Knife Company knife, you are not just buying a blade. You are helping pass on a tradition.
